Breaking Down Partisan Walls
At a time when politics feels more divided than ever, too many leaders are building walls instead of bridges.
Across the country and here at home, public service has too often become focused on political battles instead of bringing people together to solve problems. The result is communities that feel unheard and challenges that go unresolved.
I see it differently.
I believe public service begins with listening. It means bringing people together, hearing different perspectives, and working toward solutions that reflect the needs of the entire community. Throughout my career, I have built relationships, fostered collaboration, and found common ground by focusing on what unites us rather than what divides us.
Whether working through complex challenges in healthcare, serving in community organizations, or raising my family here in Salt Lake County, I have learned that lasting progress happens when people come together with a shared commitment to move forward.
When serving on the Salt Lake County Council, I will work to represent every resident, regardless of their political views, background, or life experiences. Every voice matters, and everyone deserves a seat at the table.
At a time when partisan walls continue to rise, I am committed to breaking them down and replacing them with something better: stronger communities, practical solutions, and opportunities that help families thrive. By bringing people together, focusing on shared priorities, and finding common ground, we can build a stronger future for Salt Lake County.
