A Passion for Problem-Solving

Leadership requires many things, but at its heart, it calls for a willingness to solve problems.

Throughout my career, and in my life as a husband and father, I’ve learned that meaningful solutions don’t happen by accident. They come from a clear process: identifying the problem, listening and communicating openly, bringing people together for input, and then executing with purpose.

In my professional work in healthcare administration, I’ve spent years tackling complex challenges, whether in operations, finance, or improving systems that impact thousands of people. Those experiences have taught me how to navigate tough situations, make informed decisions, and deliver results that matter.

But problem-solving isn’t just something I do at work, it’s part of who I am. It shows up at home with my kids, in conversations with neighbors, and in how I approach challenges in our community. I genuinely enjoy working through issues, finding common ground, and building solutions that move us forward.

Too often, problems go unaddressed or become divided by noise and disagreement. I believe we can do better. By focusing on understanding the issues, working collaboratively, and staying committed to results, we can solve the challenges in front of us.

That’s the approach I bring and it’s the kind of leadership I believe makes a difference.
